Proposed I-49 in the Greenwood School District
(also known as Highway 71 Relocation)
Interstate 49 begins in the New Orleans area and is projected to extend north to Kansas City. It has been designated as a high priority corridor. This preliminary property acquisitions and construction have begun in our area. The following maps were provided by Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department in their Final Environmental Impact Statement Summary
