Williamson County, Ill. - 10 miles of Marion Co. seat 7. Feb. 5th, 1882 Louisa Jane Taylor, Johnson County, Ill. - Vienna, county seat- Ill. 8. Not an immigrant 9. Since 1898- (came to Arkansas by train) 10. Same 11. Health of wife 12. Hewn logs & boxed home - clay & split wood . Place Johnson County - Vienna county seat 13. Tallow candle 14. Heber Springs, Cleaburne [sic] (Cleburne) Co.- Ark- 1898- Nov. 11th 15. Wood- wooded country 16. Corn bread made with rock burrs flower [sic] (flour) roller mills 17. Home spun wool and cotton by looms 18. None (chiarivaries [sic] - charivaris more commonly referred to as shivarees - were common) 19.Food & clothing were much cheaper 20. The linchpin wagon was used to take food to the needy 21. Corn and some cotton 22. Had the bull tongue plow and the turning plow Vienna town 23. Farming fruit, growing grain, wheat, oats 24.
