AMASDA Reports that Relate to Fort Chaffee, Arkansas
Impact studies are required for military installations. Since the Greenwood School District includes Fort Chaffee, the media center staff attempted to gather existing archeological surveys for that area. These are supposed to be available to the public. After trying to get these reports for several years, then Congressman Asa Hutchinson was contacted. Through his efforts we were able to get copies of some of the reports we had requested (those in blue). The Greenwood High School media center staff have indexed the ones we were able to obtain. They are listed by their Automate Management of Archeological Site Data in Arkansas (AMASDA) project numbers.
